The Rajasthan Budget 2026-27, presented by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari in the Assembly on February 11, 2026 , hasa total budget size of Rs. 610,956 crore. The main goal of this budget is to realize the vision of “Developed Rajasthan @ 2047” and accelerate development. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Budget Highlights and Allocations:
    • Budget size and deficit: Total budget expenditure is estimated at Rs. 6.11 lakh crore. Revenue receipts for 2026-27 are projected at Rs. 3.25 lakh crore and revenue expenditure at Rs. 3.50 lakh crore, resulting in a revenue deficit of Rs. 24,313 crore.
    • Expenditure on Key Sectors:
        • Education, Sports and Arts-Culture: Rs. 68,98,947 lakh
    • Rural Development: Rs. 33,59,821 lakh
    • Medical and Health: Rs. 32,52,630 lakh
    • Green Budget: Sustainable development and environmental protection have been given special priority in the state. Approximately ₹33,476 crore has been allocated for this purpose, representing approximately 5.48% of the total budget.
    • State of Economy: The state’s economy has registered a growth of 41.39% and the current per capita income is ₹1,67,000. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
